Sonali assisted us with the purchase of a home involving a complicated short sale, and the selling of our home. The short sale purchase was not your typical short sale in that it involved skillful negotiating with not just one lender, but three different lenders. Sonali not only adequately prepared us for the possibility of a lengthy negotiations process, she kept us apprised every step of the way. This was essential as this purchase proved to be an incredibly difficult negotiation because the lenders were not willing to work with one another to arrive at an amicable solution.

Throughout the process Sonali encountered reluctant communication, and a great deal of stalling. However, not once did Sonali allow this behavior to intimidate nor discourage her. In fact, at one point while in Southern California, she discovered one of the lenders involved in our negotiations was presenting at a conference. She utilized this opportunity to meet the lender’s representative and asked how or to whom she needed to speak with to complete the short sale transaction. It was a brave move and she acquired the necessary information. Sonali left no stone unturned.

Needless to say, it took several months of persistence and hard work, but Sonali was able to close the deal to our satisfaction. Her professionalism, tenacity, commitment, and excellent communication and negotiating skills proved successful.

When it came to the sale of our existing home, our experience with Sonali (from staging to advertising to negotiating the sale) was just as rewarding. Not only was the sale timely in a challenging market, our home sold for more than expected, and the transaction went smoothly. Sonali’s professionalism, judgment and expertise once again proved stellar.
