Shapell Industries developed the neighborhood of Bonde Ranch from 1996 to 1997. The neighborhood consists of tract homes and custom-made homes. Bonde Ranch is located just off Bernal Avenue, East of downtown Pleasanton.

Exteriors of the homes in Bonde Ranch have traditional features with modern floor plans, boasting wide and luxurious kitchens and baths. Homes have wide floor areas ranging from 2,200 sq. ft. to over 3,300 sq. ft. Lot sizes range from 8000 sq. ft to 20,000 sq. ft., with most lots having garages that can fit three vehicles. Bungalows and two-storey homes are available in the neighborhood. Some of the homes at Bonde Ranch have views of the valley and Pleasanton Ridge that gives a relaxing and homey atmosphere. The location of the neighborhood gives an excellent access downtown to the residents. This makes it one of the most sought after neighborhoods in Pleasanton. House prices in Bonde Ranch range anywhere from $1,000,000 to $1,600,000.

Bonde Ranch School Information

Bonde Ranch has one elementary school, one middle school and two high schools for the residents. Keep in mind that your home street address dictates which Pleasanton school your child attends. Valley View Elementary

Valley View Elementary, one of the oldest schools in the Pleasanton Unified School District, caters to students from Kindergarten to sixth grade. There are over 700 enrollees at the elementary school. Valley View Elementary is located near downtown Pleasanton and is unique as it is economically and ethnically diverse. They offer education to children from upper middle class families, as well as children from lower income households. Valley View Elementary offers dual-immersion programs to students who want to learn the Spanish language. About 15% of the school’s population learn a second language.

Pleasanton Middle School

Pleasanton Middle School offers middle school education to residents of the East Bay community. About 1100 enrollees attend the school. Pleasanton Middle School commits to providing academic, physical and emotional growth to the students. The curriculum includes academic programs and co-curricular activities. There are also support services, including the Character Education Program to ensure that students develop meaningful relationships with their peers and instructors. The school offers a range of academic opportunities for students. They offer academic Olympics, geography bee, after and before school library programs, as well as leadership activities.

Foothill High School

Foothill High School aims to provide educational, emotional and physical growth to the students through academic and extra-curricular activities. Through the school’s curriculum, students will be able to become independent, lifelong learners and utilize their skills both in and out of the classroom. Strengthening of personal character is also achieved through clubs and organizations, such as Mu Alpha Theta or the math team, leadership clubs, athletics, drama, choir and peer tutoring.

Amador Valley High School

Amador Valley High School is a premier public high school that provides education to more than 2500 students. The high school received awards and recognitions including the National Blue Ribbon School, National School of Character, California Distinguished School and California Golden Bell Award. Amador Valley High School has academy programs where students and teachers with common interests can learn a subject matter together. These academy programs help prepare the high school students for their career paths in college. Some of the academy classes include business law, parenting and child development, foreign languages, music, drama and world history.
