The four-year school has approximately 2300 students and received California Distinguished School status in 2004 and National Blue Ribbon status in 2006. Apart from its academic programs, the high school has 35 extra-curricular clubs and 22 competitive athletic sports for students, including organizations for reading improvement, video production, Latin, basketball, volleyball and more. Foothill High School’s faculty’s goal focuses on preparing students to become independent learners with a strong moral character and concern for others.
