A small builder in the South Bay Area, Pan-Cal Development built Forest Hill Estates in the mid 1990s. This luxurious neighborhood sits in the West Pleasanton and Stoneridge areas. Homes in Forest Hill, built from 1988 to 1990, range in floor area from 2400 to about 3100 square feet. These homes sit on lots ranging between 7000 and 8000 square feet.
Homes at Forest Hill Estates come in single and two-story varieties. Floor areas for these homes range from 2400 to 3700 square feet and have four to five bedrooms. Other features include wide and bright kitchens, elegant dining and formal rooms, vaulted ceilings, large family rooms and luxurious master bedrooms. Lot sizes in Forest Hill Estates range from 8000 to 12,000 square feet.

Lydiksen Elementary School
Lydiksen Elementary School educates 300 students in kindergarten through eighth grade annually. Apart from the core academic curriculum, students can join other school clubs and organizations, including Green Team, Breakfast Book Club, Spanish, Girl and Boy Scouts, science and GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) programs.
Hart Middle School
Hart Middle School opened in August 2000 in Hacienda Business Park, a conducive and safe environment for learning. Campus facilities include a 17,000-square foot gymnasium, picnic tables and benches, track, sports fields and other state-of-the-art facilities. Apart from academic programs, the middle school also has co-curricular activities designed to hone students’ talents and skills.
Foothill High School
Foothill High School, a National Blue Ribbon school serving about 2300 students each school year, opened in 1973 and in 2004 earned California Distinguished School recognition. Instructors at Foothill High School work to create a pleasant environment in the student-centered school where 95% of students express confidence in the school’s educational programs.
