Kottinger Ranch development, built by Westbrook Homes from 1992 to 2000, features two-story luxury homes with with floor areas ranging from 2700 to over 4000 square feet. Foothill High School

Foothill High School, one of four high schools in the Pleasanton Unified School District, opened its doors in 1973. Foothill High School has received much recognition in the ensuing years, including the California Distinguished School award in 2004 and the National Blue Ribbon School for Excellence in 2006. The high school serves about 2300 students annually, with instructors committed to teaching and looking for better ways to encourage students to succeed.
