Mission Park
Built between 1963 and 1973, Mission Park sits south of Pleasanton just off Sunol Boulevard. Homes in Mission Park feature predominantly ranch-style designs with floor sizes ranging from 1300 to 2000 square feet. Lots range in size from 5000 to 9000 square feet or more. Most of the lots in Mission Drive in Mission Park reach up to 12,000 square feet or more, as these lots extend to the hillside. Because of this, the homes in Mission Drive have spectacular views of the neighborhood hills.
Other housing pockets in Mission Park built between 1979 and 1986 have more square footage, with floor areas ranging from 2000 to 3000 square feet; however, the lot sizes resemble those of the newer, smaller homes. Some of these lots extend to a hillside.
The Mission Park community stands out as a good place to live for commuters, as it provides easy access to I-680 and the ACE train. Families can spend a day at Mission Park—one of the Pleasanton’s most popular parks—where they can engage in recreational activities or picnic. The neighborhood offers an ideal location for families with kids since the schools (as well as downtown Pleasanton) lie very close to the development.
