Built in the 1900s, Moller Ranch is a luxurious community in the hills of West Pleasanton. Residents of the community can enjoy the magnificent setting as it is surrounded by wide open spaces and hiking trails.

Homes in Moller Ranch range in size from 1800 sq. ft. to around 2200 sq. ft. These homes have vaulted ceilings and custom amenities with spacious kitchens, living rooms and master suites. Houses come equipped with a two-car garage. Apart from these ready-made houses, Moller Ranch also offers semi-custom homes that are 2800 sq. ft. to 3700 sq. ft. in size with lot areas ranging from 8000 sq. ft. to 15,000 sq. ft. These two-storey homes come with a garage that can fit up to three cars. Custom homes have dramatic architectural designs like columns, high ceilings and grand staircases. Exteriors of the homes vary, giving the neighborhood of Moller Ranch a custom feel. Most of these houses are surrounded with open spaces and have views of Mount Diablo and the city lights in the nighttime.

In 1999, Moller Ranch Estates was built. Homes in Moller Ranch Estates sit on more than half an acre to an acre of land with the homes having an area of 4000 to 6000 sq. ft. These houses have a wide floor plan and designer finishes.

Moller Ranch is one of the most sought after communities in the Pleasanton area as it is conveniently located near the Stoneridge Mall, schools and local parks. The neighborhood’s homeowner’s association covers maintenance of common areas and the small community park.

Lydiksen Elementary School

Lydiksen Elementary School caters to students from Kindergarten to eighth grade. They get around 300 enrollees every school year. The elementary school aims to provide a challenging environment that will meet the needs of the students as they study the state standard curriculum. Apart from improving the educational abilities of the students, Lydiksen Elementary School also offers some programs for the diverse interests of the students. Some of these programs include the green team, Spanish, spectrum of science and girl and boy scouts.

Hart Middle School

Hart Middle School opened its doors in August 2000. The middle school was recognized as a California Distinguished School in 2003. Hart Middle School provides excellent academic programs that are based on state standards. Aside from the excellent education, students can also improve their social skills and build lasting relationships with their peers and instructors through various programs offered in the school. Extra-curricular activities provide an avenue for students to showcase their many talents and skills.

Foothill High School

Foothill High School, located at the foothills of Pleasanton, is one of the two high schools in the Pleasanton area. The high school has received numerous awards and recognitions including California Distinguished School and the National Blue Ribbon School. Foothill High School is known for their high achievement rates and continuous improvements to the school in order to meet the current demands of the students. Since the school’s opening in 1973, enrollees have grown to a population of 2300 students for each school year.
