Oak Hill

Oak Hill, a neighborhood of single-family homes on Foothill Road in Pleasanton, has zero lot line homes with floor areas ranging from 1300 to over 2500 square feet on lots in the 6000-square foot range.
Residents of Oak Hill have easy access to the local, making the neighborhood one of the most sought after among home buyers. A nearby community park gives residents a place to relax, take a stroll or engage in recreational activities. Oak Hill also has homeowner’s association fees that cover use of the community pool and the cabana club. The homeowner’s association will not, however, include the new phase of Oak Hill.
Oak Hill School Information
Residents of Oak Hill can enroll their children in the nearest elementary, middle and high schools in Pleasanton Unified School District.
Lydiksen Elementary School
Lydiksen Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through eighth grade. Built in 1968, the school has approximately 300 students and uses a core curriculum that meets California and Pleasanton Unified School District standards. In addition to its academic programs, the elementary school also offers students special programs such as Breakfast Book Club, Spanish, spectrum of science, Girl and Boy Scouts and GATE (Gifted and Talented Education).
Thomas S. Hart Middle School
Thomas S. Hart Middle School opened its doors in August 2000 in Hacienda Business Park, a safe and conducive environment for learning. The school has state-of-the-art facilities, including computer labs, science lab stations, a library, sports fields, a track and a 17,000-square foot gymnasium. Thomas S. Hart Middle School received a recognition as a California Distinguished School in 2003.
Foothill High School
Foothill High School, a National Blue Ribbon school that opened in 1973, serves 2300 enrollees annually. In addition to its academic programs, Foothill High also offers extra-curricular activities such as 35-plus active clubs and organizations and 22 competitive sports teams, with more than 80% of the student body active in co-curricular activities; additionally, 95% of the students express confidence in the school’s ability to provide a quality education.
