Pleasanton Middle School
Pleasanton Middle School offers middle school education to residents of the East Bay community. With about 1100 students, the school commits itself to providing academic, physical and emotional growth to students. It promotes diversity and encourages the needs of students as individuals. Pleasanton Middle School hones students to become well-rounded individuals. For this reason, it offers co-curricular activities in addition to the school’s academic programs to support students’ social development. These organizations and activities include conflict-resolution club, geography bee, after- and before-school library programs, and leadership activities.
Foothill High School
Foothill High School, one of two comprehensive high schools in Pleasanton Unified School District (PUSD), commits to providing excellent education to high school students. As part of its mission to nurture and stimulate the intellectual, emotional and physical growth of each student through academic and extra-curricular activities, Foothill High School supports and participates in the PUSD and Pleasanton Community of Character and Character Education program, which aims to develop and instill ethical values in students. The roster of co-curricular activities includes leadership training, athletics, choir, drama, sports and peer tutoring.
