Pleasanton Meadows
Built by Rouseau Development between 1868 and 1975, Pleasanton Meadows remains best known for its generous floor plans in a luxurious neighborhood boasting an abundance of cul-de-sacs, a community pool and a cabana. A greenbelt runs through the neighborhood connecting with Fairlands Elementary School, giving residents access to a lush countryside.
The Pleasanton Meadows Cabana Club (PMCC) remains the communal heart of the community, holding an annual Easter egg hunt, grand opening barbecue, and a fall wine and food party. Another popular feature of Pleasanton Meadows, residents flock to picturesque Meadows Park for picnics as well as other recreational activities.

Fairlands Elementary
Fairlands Elementary educates students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The school commits itself to offering a challenging and supportive curriculum for students to prepare them with vital knowledge and skills they will need for success. Fairlands Elementary also encourages creativity and a life-long appreciation for learning and thus offers visual and performing arts programs. Additionally, the school offers an array of academic programs that follow California curriculum in areas including language arts, science, social studies and mathetmathics. The school also incorporates TRIBES into the school curriculum to teach and reinforce respect for oneself and others as well as attentive listening.
Hart Middle School
Founded in August 2000, Hart Middle School commits to facilitating the transitional educational period for its students by encouraging responsibility, teaching organization and enhancing self-esteem. The school takes pride in its state-of-the-art facilities, which include laboratory and computer stations, a sports field and a 17,000-square foot gymnasium. Hart Middle School offers academic programs and activities to nurture students’ intellectual and social growth. To hone other areas of students’ interests, the school encourages participation in a variety of clubs and organizations such as debate club, golf team, eco club, and the prestigious school band and choir, among others.
Amador Valley High School
Amador Valley High School boasts of its recognitions, which include National Blue Ribbon School, National School of Character, California Distinguished School and California Golden Bell Award Winner. One of the two premier, comprehensive four-year high schools in Pleasanton Unified School District, the school provides students with an exemplary learning environment, with each classroom having two state-of-the-art computers. It provides students with numerous opportunities to enhance their technological skills as well as community involvement from businesses and community groups. This allows many students to receive internships at local businesses and research facilities.
