Ponderosa / Country Fair
Located conveniently in the middle of the town off Valley Ave, the Ponderosa and Country Fair is yet another Pleasanton home development. The periods of 1983 to 1993 saw the building of the Ponderosa and Country Fair by installments.
Originally, the Country Fair is supposed to feature homes that range from 2,200 square feet up to an impressive 3,000 square feet. The lots expand into one-fourth acres in range, with several lots of one-third acres. These homes feature three car garages.
In the event of developing the phases, the lots decreased by area. Located on the West of Valley Avenue, the lots range from 4,000 square feet to 7,500 square feet. The homes that stand on them range from 1,600 square feet to 3,000 square feet. In addition, several homes, not all, have three car garages.
Within bounds of the neighborhood, there are two parks. The Oak tree-studded terrain of Pleasanton entertains the residents with its pleasant view.
Apart from these seemingly inviting features, the Ponderosa and Country Fair plays neighbor to six Schools within the vicinity, namely, The Donlon Elementary School, Walnut Grove Elementary, Hart Middle School, Harvest Park Middle School, Foothill High School and the Amador valley Highschool.
These schools stand true to their principle of good quality education. These schools are actually enough to keep the residents from taxing too much on looking for schools outside their neighborhood. These schools hold strategic locations that cater to the young population of resifdents.
Such importance to location only means that the Ponderosa and Country Fair neighborhood gives premium to quality education.
Though the Ponderosa and Country Fair cannot boast of any amenities, it prides itself on certain characteristics that make the home development popular.
The Home Owner’s Association of the Ponderosa and Country Fair does not have any dues. This means they do not have to shell out some money from the association to pay for whatever it is they need to keep their association afloat.
The neighborhood has a great central location near Valley Avenue and Hopyard. Both of which are good places for recreation and residence.
The neighborhood is close to several parks. In addition, it is also close to the tennis center and park, including the Hansen Park.
The Ponderosa has nice styling in terms of its modern floor plans and vaulted ceilings. They have impressive master suites, and many homes with rooms that are built for extra space and accommodation.
With Pleasanton situated at the rich and thriving plant life, the views of the ridge from the neighborhood prove to be pleasant and inviting. These, even without the benefit of amenities, give enough reason why living in Ponderosa is an experience worthy of attention.
